ADV 10 Deep Concave

Well, I got my car back today from the oil pump recall and got some other good news as well. My wheels have completed assembly at ADV! Now they are off to Miami at Wheels Boutique to get michelin PSS mounted and balanced and then off to me!

The specs are 3 piece ADV 10 Deep concave, 21x9 front, 21x11 rear to be mounted on 265/30/21 and 295/25/21 in the rear.

Heres a pic of the completed wheels:

Looking forward to seeing them mounted. What are you going to lower your car with? I assume you are going to drop it ...

Thinking about the KW Clubsport Coilovers with EDC delete module, but was also wanted to consider KW sleeve kit when its available....will definitely get some pics up once mounted....

Nice wheels! Congrats! Can't wait to see them on your car!

May I suggest the KW v3 coil overs with the EDC delete kit. Really nice hardware, excellent warranty and the ride quality is a lot better than I expected. I mounted mine on right before the oil pump recall.

They are also really easy to adjust once the springs "settle" a bit to the final ride height you want.

I wish I had these on my E60.

You should go with the KW V3 kit. We have it in our M5 and its great, not to mention its in between a "sleeve kit" and a Clubsport kit.

Omar, I saw pictures of a white M5 that you guys did with ADV8s on it, looks great, similar look that I'm going for, I saw the KW kit on that car as well as the front lip....have you had any issues with scraping the front lip or rubbing with the car that low?!

Beauties!!!!! Love my KW3's, they are VERY comfortable. Plus, with those 21's you r definitely going to want to fine tune your ride height.

Can't wait for pics!

Sad to see a nice car with wheels from a shady wheel company, with VERY questionable quality.

I hope you've read the threads about the ADV wheel failure. And how they tried to explain drilling extra holes as a weight saving measure on another set of wheels. They then back track and saying it was an accident??? So was it a weight saving process or an accident? Either way, it was a mess of a wheel.
Then they claim their wheels are TUV certified but refuse to post any certification because they're concerned other companies will photoshop their certificate, but in the same thread HRE posts their TUV certification. They've been lying left and right and get caught over and over. There's also a guy on an MB forum who has had to take his wheels apart before they would take care of him. He still had to ship the wheels back.
Not to mention they're the same guys who ran 360Forged and screwed all kinds of people out of thousands. Forged Distributed had to clean up their mess. Why would anyone buy from suck a company???

I've read the posts you're referring to.....however I've read similar posts regarding virtually every high end wheel manufacturer....even our cars have had issues with oil pumps when they're basically brand new, does that mean we shouldn't buy any of these products? for some its a yes, for others no....

I think the wheel designs are top notch put out by ADV....a lot of high end auto design shops are using their wheels as well....to each their own I guess...

BMW put an extended warranty on the S54 engine when they started blowing up. They extended and changed out waste gates, turbos, and injectors on the N54 when they started failing. They've compensated some of you with the bad oil pumps.
They did not OBVIOUSLY LIE about their faults once it became clear there was a problem.

Any wheel can fail if abused, but some of these failures were purposely done by ADV, like drilling the extra holes on the center rim. The cracked wheel was on an SUV. The C63 wheel vibrated too much to even drive it from the first time they were installed, so doubtful it was abused.
I've never seen a BBS, VOLK Champion wheel fail. HRE has been solid once they got TUV certified.

If you're going by what high end auto shops are putting on their cars, your falling for ADVERTISEMENT and hype. I'm sure they give high margins on their wheels, so shops want to sell them. They do look good, but the safety of me and my family are WAY MORE IMPORTANT to me.

The company ADV has definitely been shady. Lots of stories about their dealings. I worked with a dealer here in San Diego, Automobile Connoisseur Group. I went with the ADV 10 DC for my M5 and I couldn't be happier. ACG is very aware of the issues with ADV. They do a full inspection of the wheels and send them back. No payment until the wheels meet their quality standards. That being said, I would understand if someone avoided them.

It's unfortunate that Jordan and ADV make such great designs yet have a terrible reputation in forums. I for one will never own ADV wheels as they left me hanging when they bankrupted 360 Forged and just closed shop with open orders undelivered. But Carolina - great set of wheels sick looking M5.

Did Forged Distributed take care of you after Jordan screwed you over?

What really pissed me off about that was they had a ton of orders, but wasted all the money showing off on the forums with Ferrari's, Porsches and a fancy new office. They should have been taking care of their customers.
