Our Brushed/Tinted Clear coat finish is just that. The aluminum is hand brushed, cleaned and then a one stage coat of tinted clear powder coat is shot over it.

Right, but how does the brushed titanium differ from brushed tinted? Is the titanium a matte finish?

You got it. The Brushed Titanium is a tad darker and has a matte finish. It is gorgeous!

not really the thread you should be posting in, this is about a members hre wheels.

And no those wheels will not fit an f10 M5 if your offsets are correctly listed above. The wheels will stick out past the fenders front and rear.

Hey cpiguy,
Noticed you are in Westlake Village. Me too. I have a SG M6 and decidng on wheel finishes. Matte Anthracite or a tinted brushed finish on some MORR wheels.
Any chance I can buy you a cup of Joe this weekend and check out your set up.
Want to see that finish in person. Thanks

Very nice set of wheels and tasteful!!! I get sick and tired of seeing the same cars with the same type of wheels especially Mesh style. Thanks for being different!

I have decided to have my wheels refinished by the great team at HRE. I'm going with Brushed Clear for a brighter contrast to Singapore Gray. This was a very difficult decision, but I'm happy I made it. New pcitures coming when I get them back on the car.

Stay tuned.

Great move!!!

My wheels were once brushed with a tinted clear and I had MORR refinish them to brushed clear and they are amazing

Thanks again guys. I must say, I love this car. Cant wait to drive it every single day. 6000 miles and counting after 4 months. This definately won't be a low mileage ride.

Yeah, the problem is that the aluminum is brightening the photo image and you're not seeing the true brushed titanium color on either CPI's photos or on the Velo car (which is also PS'd). In real life, it is quite a bit darker than represented.

My hunch is that if you want to re-create the look on the Velo car, then you need to go straight brushed center with polished lip (which I am contemplating myself). Can't wait to see CPI's new photos of the refinished wheel.

Exactly what I've decided on. Brushed clear center with polished lip. They're going to HRE on Monday. Should be back on the car in a couple of weeks.

Recieved confirmation that my wheels arrived at HRE today. They will begin taking them apart and refinishing them tomorrow. Should be done in about a week.
