Of course I've looked at the photos. Can you give me measurements and the thickness of the spacer required for the rear mounting? Thank you.

A 12mm spacer was used in our test ( I am sure a 10mm would work too)

The price would be $70 less if not getting the spacer and bolts.

Thanks for the quick response and from the mounted picture the rim seems higher than the tire when lying flat? Oh, one last question, what is the size of the tire?

How close were you able to get to the rolling diameter of the stock wheels?

Stock diameters are 27" rear, 27.3" front.

Thanks

Thanks

The rolling is about 27.5, within the 2 % range (I am trying to get one that is 27.3 but not sure if I can get that tire yet)

Please excuse me if you feel I'm asking questions you'd rather not answer, but I'm trying to determine if the space I'll save in the trunk when I'm traveling with luggage will be worth the $700+ compared to the higher cost of a more usable standard rim with the wider tire. The Ecopia 155/70-19 tire is a little over 6" wide, and the 175/60-19 is almost 7", so I was hoping you would tell me if the rim you are using rises above the tire when it lies flat? The 265/40-19 is 10.4" high when lying flat and it would be helpful for me to know if the rim on your spare rises above the tire when it is lying flat? If so, how much? Thank you.

Let me tell you this.
Spare is much thinner and smaller than the stock wheel.
That's all it matters i believe.

That's great news. Well, the actual dimensions do matter, I believe. If I don't have luggage in the trunk a standard size spare is no problem, if I do have luggage every inch can make a difference. That's why I'd like for you to tell me how high the rim is above the tire, and exactly which tire size you are using. If I'm only saving a couple of inches of stackable height with your spare over the stock tire it may not make sense for me to invest in a wheel and tire that will only be used in rare situations and can't be rotated into the use cycle of the other tires. Does that make sense to you? It doesn't seem like an unreasonable request.

Pardon my ignorance, but where would you put this spare?

If in the trunk, then wouldn't it have to be bolted down somehow? I like to do some spirited driving now and then, and I wouldn't want the spare to be sloshing around my trunk during those times.

We all know this car didn't come with a spare. It would be up to the individual to find their way to secure the tire. I'm sure there will b diff ways.

Well I hit a pothole en route to HOU airport and immediate catastrophic failure to the left front tire. Car had to be towed to dealer. Great times!
