Clear Bra Recommendations ?

My alpine white M5 only three weeks old and
While having a wash today noticed like two
Small rock chips in the air damn area. Was
So pissed. Any recommendations for clear bra or any other
Options ? Know of any places in miami that does
The clear bra ??

Bought the touch up paint but that's not the long term
Solution. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks

Since I am not in Florida, I do not know installers there to recommend. I only have suggestions as I am also having my 2013 M5 paint film protected.
My only suggestion is to go for custom install. Some shops use pre-cut sheets (supposedly computer cut for specific cars) which may be fine for a week or two, however, when dirt start accumulating, you will easily see the edges of those pre-cut sheets. Personally, I would insist on the installer to use 60" sheets cut in such a way that allow for over the edge folds so no seam/edge is visible. Areas I had wraped are front bumper, full hood/fenders, headlights, side sills, mirrors, fins, rear wheel arches and rear bumper.

Auto Supershield is very good. They did Bradone1's car and also my previous car.

Yes suntek ppf film is really the most clear, super auto shield does it, make sure he does all the corners nice and tight/right, I am impressed with it. Always looks waxed.

I would highly suggest doing opticoat on the entire car before the suntek ppf film

Brad - I think this may be the cause of the clearbra adherence issue you described. LakeOM5 has the same issue. He optiguarded the while car then did the clearbra. On my car the areas with clearbra have no Optiguard.

True I had big problems with suntek. Peeling off and bubbling up. Tough to say what the issue was exactly because suntek over optiguard has been done without problems on other cars.

Replaced with Xpel and has been perfect. No issues. Can't go wrong with either as long as it sticks. Can't tell the difference between the two on a black metallic M5 as far as clarity feel or performance.

One tip either way is to have your car polished professionally (or if you are really really good do it yourself) and then lay down the film. Because whatever the condition of you paint it will be locked in. BMW clear coat is "orange peel" and not smooth/flat. Polishing makes a big diff on black. Not so much on other colors.

Agree completely. I had a detailer spend 10 hours prepping the paint before the clearbra.

So if I went your route I could get Clear Bra immediately then do opti-guard/coat later on?

1. Professional Wash and Polish - dual action real polishing with professional level product, not DIY Turtle Wax, OTC stuff. We are talking $300 - $500 level work by local perfectionist.

2. Clear Bra of your choice

3. Optiguard

You will be happiest this way. My car had #1 and #3 done at same time. Best to do it 1,2,3. Still, my car looks insane, wet and deep. Stealth's does too. World of difference.

My route was for detailer to polish the paint to remove surface imperfections and Optiguard the panels not getting clearbra.

Then install clearbra.

I got XPEL Stealth Ultimate and it's been amazing so far. Can't even tell its on the car. I got the front bumper, hood, front fenders, rockers and half the rear bumper wrapped with it. I just posted some pics here if you want to see.
