Sorry

Sorry but for the life of me I can't see how vandalizing a pair of tyres and abusing a car is fun. It just looks to me like someone gets their money too easily.

I was always brought up to look after things, especially the things I and other people work hard for, so not for me I'm afraid.

I'm sure you'd be much happier in a Prius.

I just don't see why anyone would want to It just seems so totally silly to use a car to produce a lot of smoke, blister the rubber, reduce the car's cornering grip and potentially damage the diff. You can do burnouts with 100 horsepower as long as you break traction first, so what's the big deal? What does it prove?

It's called having fun, Steve. You should try it some time.

As I said, not my kinda fun. Prefer driving nice canyons and back roads or giving the car a wash and polish. Destroying my tyres while creating lots of thick, acrid smoke most definitely isn't where I'm at.

How much you like to bet me that somewhere amongst all those ECU smarts, that M6 is recording the insult. Traction control off, peak revs, rear wheels turning multiples faster than fronts. "Sorry Mr. customer, you've been doing burnouts, so that broken diff. isn't covered"

This is no different than sitting in a parking bay and redlining your engine for a minute or more without load. Why would you? These aren't custom built dragsters or rusted beater Camaros, they're European thoroughbreds deserving of some respect.

Go buy a Miata for your spirited canyon runs, you clearly own the wrong car.

Maybe the driver was getting new tires installed. I know when I have an appointment at my shop to put new rear tires on, that week consists of burnouts and power slides to get my money's worth and to have a little fun. I certainly wouldn't do anything like this on a fresh set of tires though.

I mean, a new set of rears is what 5-600?

I've definitely spent far more than that for far less giggles before, just think Steve is a nance.

Oh yeah, and broken diff.

Cool video! By the way, that Maserati (if it is an MC Stradale) is the best sounding V8 of all time!

You should. Then even if it all goes wrong, you can still star in your own epic fail video. I mean, who doesn't love one of those?

Make sure you wear a hoodie or put your cap on backwards. Its in character and adds to the comic effect. And in the event it does go wrong, jump out and kick the car. Also, have an unopened can of Pepsi with you, then if anything catches fire (which sometimes happens) go get the can, shake it and try to put the fire out with the Pepsi. Hey, this could go viral

I wonder if you ever redlined the car or went over the national speed limit? Unless its stupid/illegal/childish/not worth it/not fun/idiotic/expensive/crazy/not allowed by wife/whatever excuse you can come up with
