BMW M5 NOS, Brand New for well below retail!
Took my M2 today to the dealer to instal some M parts I had ordered and I was greeted with this beauty!
The salesperson told me someone had booked it but still didn't finalize so there could be a chance it would be available. Turns out it was never delivered to its owner and now he doesn't want it. The asking price was a good 25% off the initial retail price. Only a little more than the regular M5. They were asking $112,000 for it. To put things in perspective, I paid $72,000 for my M2 (fully loaded but 6MT) and this is without the M Performance parts. I really want this beast. Question is, is this a good deal or is it a really, really good deal? Would its price ever appreciate or just depreciate less than a regular M5? I'm not asking to buy this as an investment it's just that I once had the opportunity to buy a watch for retail and when I hesitated turned out it was worth twice the price and by the time I was back it was gone. |

good deal. but i don't see it holding any long term value. if anything a couple bucks more than a regular one. bottom line, end of the day, it will be old, out of warranty, and a nightmare to maintain down the line.
