Full Flash Tune + JB4 vs Back End Flash + Jb4
I am running Mission Performance stage 2 flash. Alex at Mission unlocked my DMEs and he is awesome. Highly recommended.
Obviously my limitation right now is the 22psi of boost offered by a Full Flash. (unless I update map sensors to 3.5 Bar- which I dont want to do now). I am looking to push the car further with more boost - possibly 25psi. The question is, can I stack jb4 on top of my FULL FLASH even though it is not a Back end flash made FOR jb4? I am looking for a little flexibility so that when I go to events, I can simply switch to a more powerful map offered by Jb4 while keeping my mission performance tune as a BEF. OR DO I have to go with a BEF and stack jb4 on top of it as many others have done here? Whats the difference between a BEF and a full tune flash? Obviously my cheapest route is just stack jb4 on top of my full flash, but I await others to chime in here. BTW, i have SSP clutches, catless downpipes and K&N filters. |

This is where BM3 makes a difference. You switch between maps with your laptop--between a BEF and a custom flash.
Curious to know what Alex will say about this. Cheers, dude. Glad you got that beast set up to tear the streets! |

I just feel that at some roll race events i just cant keep up with the mercs or other m5s on just a jb4+bcm. Would love the ability of safely dialing up a "kill" map for these events. Something that would work with full race gas and 100 percent meth in the vicinity of 25-26 psi. The torque i already have (around 700) but i wish i could do close to mid 700s whp. |
