Mission Performance OBD Tune
Just got my car tuned by Mission Performance over OBD,
I've had a looong history of problems with my car running lean - being in the middle of nowhere on an Island has made it difficult to resolve, ripping DME's out and posting them 8,000 miles one way and waiting for them to come back seemed too risky via post, and would take my car out of action for too long (daily driver). Once I heard Mission Performance could do OBD flash I jumped on the wagon straight away; I know many people now offer this but I've been following the forum and seen Alex resolve issues similar to mine in the past. It's been 5 days now and I've had no lean issues, the car is running exceptionally smooth and literally the car feels in a completely different category of power, delivery is far more refined and evened out, I get less traction interference and when it does it's more subtle rather than harsh cut-off as it did before. It feels 'smarter' at delivering the power, and it never stops delivering. The funny thing is I find myself pushing it less aggressively, as it's easier to deliver blips of acceleration when needed calmly. Once tuned you really do forget you have a 2+ ton car. I'm a real pain in the ass to deal with as I ask a ton of questions, but Alex answered everything and even spent time with me over the phone multiple times and also as we flashed the car, talking me through everything that'd go on - flash time took approximately 6-8 minutes from plugging in the laptop to ready for testing, and he's been in touch multiple times after to see how it's all going. I'm finally able to enjoy my car after 2 years of headache! |

+1 for Alex
He is my go-to tuner on late model BMW's. Exceptional customer service and always delivers on his service. Multiple data logging, phone calls, everything you mentioned. He is always willing to spend time to make sure every car is running perfect. |
