I was so excited to buy the car. I put a deposit as well. Got my financing cleared and booked my tickets. Dan is selling the vehicle, he later told me his friend/colleague is on the title l. My bank wont give the cheque to anyone but the owner of the vehicle.

Dan got the vehicle inspected and they have a BMW PPI. PPI discovered a minor issue which Dan promptly fixed. When it comes to financing this though it might be a challenge. I purchased tickets to fly down there and pick up this car, extremely sad and confused.

Guys, I've been very open & honest with everyone interested in this M5. It had a minor accident where the bumper facia and oil cooler cover were the only two body panels replaced.
I graciously offered to refund this persons deposit.
As I stated in an earlier post, I purchased this to replace my wife's C-Max as a retirement gift for her. This car is awesome however just too much for my tree hugging hybrid loving wife, so we decided to try and sell it.
So if the deposit is returned, we will keep it.

I appreciate everyone's interest.

Update: Dan agreed to transfer the title on his name. He also offered to refund my deposit. He is a good guy to work with. I love the car and it is very well maintained. Me and my wife already purchased tickets and are flying to meet him. I thought Dan had the title of the car but in one of our many texts he mentioned that his friend has the title. I overlooked that information. We are doing our best to smooth things out and make this work.

An M car has been a dream. It is a passion to the point that my Wife said yes to buying one (that takes a lot believe me).

An untimely introduction in the forum. I work on software for special needs and disabled children and my wife works on saving lives doing cancer research.

Ok, you and your wife are saints ... and you probably deserve an ///M car more then most the trump babies that have them.
