60-130 Video

Don't have a VBOX but took a video - didn't turn DSC off so some impact due to traction control blinking through 4th gear.

In my crude math it is 6.6-6.7s 60-130 by looking at the video timeline... (YouTube annotation shows the 2nd decimal place!)

I should hopefully borrow a VBOX and do this properly. I did run into LakersPride F10 M5 today (he has AMS DP, JB4 +3psi, Akropovik exhaust) and I probably put 10 cars on him We stopped over (in Mexico) and chatted a bit.

Nice with the DSC flashing on, but does not look much faster than mine from 100mph.. I can upload a video in a sec then do the judgement yourself
My car is in km/h, I did the comparison for both @100MPH/160km/h, looks the same.

Here it is!:
First clip is full tank of gas, 2 persons + full luggage (driving home from vacation) Other is at 35 degrees celcius on a bumpy road + curve - yes I'm an idiot.

I am sure your car is quick but I don't think it could be the same - this car is making 700+ whp during this run. Maybe DSC slowed it down but I walk a 991 Turbo S by a LOT..! My speedo in mph seems to move the same speed as yours in kmph

I will do another with better gas and cooler weather and DSC off :-)

Video doesn't do justice to what your car does in real life.
I should have my vbox in a few days, let me know when you want to borrow it.

Nice...

Can you time it to start at 60 same time - I seem to be at 50 while yours shows 60. To me at least it seems I start 10mph less and
end up 8mph higher in the same time period.

Looks like his car is faster. Took a shot then you are at 70 when he is at 60 and your are at 120 when he is at 130... however speedometers on cars have some errors and those errors are different from car to car. The best (and most accurate) way to have real numbers is VBOX.

Compare min from 100km/h and his from 60mph (96km/h) to 140mph (224km/h).. Looks the same, but still on a race it would be different!

Good deal , video timing is completely useless for multiple reasons . The biggest one is bc of the speedo error . Even if you accurately time 60-130 on the speedo( which you can't ) that is not an actual GPS 60-130 . The 6mph from 124-130 by GPS takes a good bit longer than the previous 6mph b/c of drag . Big difference between 57-125 or 56-124 vs a true 60-130 . Also road slope and density altitude are important as far as comparing apples to apples , I.e comparing tuned cars . The slope should be as close to zero as possible . No need to speculate let's see what it actually runs !
Thanks

What are you running on that beast that makes 700whp? My car is currently running the burger box 3.5 , AP catless dp's , tms muffler delete, going in next week for the T-700 ESS tune. I wonder how much I would put out
