Trunk won't stay closed?

Anyone else have this issue? When I hit the trunk close button, the lid closes but then a second later it starts beeping and opens again. Hit close button, repeat. Finally closes and stays closed after several tries. Thoughts?

That usually means that you're key is inside the trunk. My old E60 M5 did that to me a few times.

Or you are walking away as it closes. Stay close until it is closed.

Key is in my hand. I learned the hard way about locking my key in the trunk once before lol.

That is it - or least it was for me. Trunk sensed my foot walking away.
