AW M5 pulled over on the Greenway

Saw an AW M5 with ZCP (I believe, based on a quick glance at the rims) pulled over on the Greenway in VA. I felt for the guy. I was in the misses' SUV and wanted to turn around a tell the police officer "but sir, it needs to be driven briskly to be fully appreciated" but the misses was nonplussed.

Whoever it was, hope you got out of a ticket.

It wasn't me thank goodness, but thanks for the warning. No joy on the Dulles Greenway for sure.

That stretch is nothing but a giant speed trap. I avoid it like the plague. In fact, I go out of my way to never drive my M5 in Virginia. Worst State in the Union to be a car enthusiast.

Oh it's not that bad.

We didn't have any problems on the bistro run.

Sorry got a little emotional there. I've just had one too many bad experiences and I had another friend of mine have a bad experience too. True, I think we got lucky on that day. It was a great little run, but I like to take Maryland to get to Leesburg from now on. Much better roads. Can't wait for the next get together.

Dave I don't know how close you are to Kentucky, but they have some really nice roads to enjoy. Check out their map. I want to go up there one day. Reminds me of the hill country in San Antonio where I used to go. Nothing but windy roads.

I take the greenway every day on my commute home. It does trim at least 30 minutes off my drive, so worth the $5 toll to me. I must agree with Dave, though, it is a speed trap. Cruise control FTW!
