Hi, everybody

I have BMW M5 F10 13'

I wanted to write and discuss with you about a consumption of oil on M5
Running in:
From 0-500 km I went as vegetable <2200/m
500-1000km <3000/m
1000-2000km <4000/m it is very rare
The first time of M5 I asked oil on 1690km

The consumption of oil was ~ 2000km/1litre to 1500km
After my euro a trip 8000Km I added only 2 liters (1L/4000km)
the consumption of oil began to increase! !
1l/1300km
1l/1000km
1l/900km
I asked constantly questions to the dealer, but he spoke that it is norm! ! !
Now the situation is even worse
My exhaust pipes became black! ! !
After oil replacement I added 1litre through 490km! ! !
Then through 590km! ! ! !
I asked the dealer that they made control measurement of oil! ! ! Also I sent info to BMW AG! ! !
Measured a compression in cylinders - ok
Control measurement of oil showed 1,550litre/1000km
At present I wait for the answer from BMW AG and is very strongly upset, I in rage! ! ! ! ! ! !

Oil replacement with every 4000-6000km (2500-4000ml)
I tried different oil
Original BMW 0w30
Motul 300V 0w30
Motul 300V 5w30
Motul 300V 5w40
Original BMW 5W30
Now 33000Km

if your exhaust is black and oily then you have a problem. You should not use 1L in 100km. You are getting blow by. Dealer should look at this again.

Don't everyone's exhaust pipes build up soot?

Yes, busy it's seems that he is burning 1l every 100-400km. That is a lot more than one would expect to burn. So I am only assuming he has some type of blow by and his exhaust is prob a bit oily( not just black from build up) .

I received answer from BMW
AG!
To replace both valvate covers! ! As there is a ventilation system! ! On Puma! Not so long ago detail number was replaced! After replacement asked to repeat control measurement of oil! ! ! Told that it precisely will help! I very much hope for it! ! After replacement I will write to you!
Whether were at someone experience with replacement?
