Eventually I found that Comfort gave the most feedback but felt the sloppiest. So then I changed and stuck to Sport for a bit then when I bought my R8 I really started to notice the difference in steering and now I am Sport Plus . Either way they all miss the boat Sport and SportP just offering more resistance rather then feedback. Like I have said many times, I don't have many complaints about this great ride but the steering is really something to be desired and you only really really notice it when you drive something else or have a very communicative car in your stable.
That's what I thought too with the quick 1st test drive of the M5. The sport modes added more resistance and slightly more feedback. Comfort was just sloppy.

I love the looks of the M6GC, but I just can't reconcile the price difference with the M5.

M5 with CC is a must!!

Considering the feedback I've been reading about the revised steering, along with the LCI changes, I'm starting to think that I can't justify paying off my current M5 when I can get into an LCI competition package, albeit at a loss (5-6K upside down on trade).

Do ED M5s come out of dealer allocation?

Are you sure you're doing the math right? You're not counting your deposit. What would your depreciation loss be?

EDs are coming out of dealer allocation at present. BMW may release some allocations directly, but nothing as of yet.
