B&O Accent light update?
It was stated on this forum that a software update to correct the B&O accent lighting dimness would be released in June. Anyone know if this occurred? M6's are considerably brighter.

Yes, I can give you an update. This issue was very, very well documented by BMW.
No software fix is forthcoming. BMW NA has instructed the dealer network to take no action in regards to this complaint. Not only do different models have varying light intensity, but it can also vary from M5 to M5 regardless of build date. This behavior is considered normal and is not a valid complaint to qualify for a warranty parts replacement.

Really?! So why is there an option to change intensity in the menu?! Unacceptable...if there is no change in intensity when I select it, then it is a warranty issue.

There is a SIB around the complains and at least currently it is being planned to release a "solution" with the upcoming ISTA/P 2.50.0 release in July 2013
