Car turned off and went into neutral at light

Ok, so I'm tuned with catless downpipes and k&n air filters. Ever since I had the tune the start stop had issues. It showes off when on and on when off and doesn't work and sometimes it does work. MY car toyally turned off at a red light and went into neutral. This isnt even what the start/stop feature would do if working. I had to start my car again via push button. Wondering if this is the issue? Anyone else ever experience?

I have Enzo's tune. I took my car to him a week after the original tune to tweak the rough cold start delete. That was fixed but the start/stop issue wasn't. I'm likely going to bring back again and he is very responsive but just wondering if anyone else ever had the issue and can chime in.

My car went into N a few times randomly. I don't recall it shutting off. Safety feature? Would be good to find someone or dealer to read the car with BMW software. Maybe there's an error

They won't recognize a tune by reading the ECU. Been there done that too many times

The dealer themselves won't recognize it, but that doesn't mean that you're safe or anything.

It automatically sends data to BMW which is stored and can be reviewed later - so I wouldn't give people a false sense of security.... it really depends on a number of factors.

To the OP:
If it wasn't doing it before it sounds like a tuning mistake. I don't see how cold start would need to be tweaked, it's either on or off - works every time if you know how to do it right - should be no roughness to it.

regarding cold start - after he tweaked it got much smoother. No cold start and no rough idle.

I drove the car about another 50 miles so far and no other issues

Enzo is fantastic......he really is such a great guy to deal with. I was there yesterday getting an updated tune thrown on after some dealer work and subsequent update of software.

Was this a recurring issue? Was there a fix? Had a handful of times now where my 2011 535i engine shut off after pulling away from a stop light and went into neutral. No codes, no lights.
