My new car arrived 1 month before M5 was due, so my friend took my m5 competition package for a month. After the G63 that I got, I drove M5 to the dealer to return, around 50 miles total. Wow felt so amazing!

Handling, seats, transmission, power, throttle responsiveness... I was in love once again.

Had a back thought if I ordered a new one before they are gone, it would be an individual build...

Back room in the M4 is ok for kids and teens. But adults will find it hard to access the rear. But hey, you can of course get the four door M3. M3 rear seat space is identical to the M5.

Drove the X6M but neither the 8 speed gearbox nor the handling (especially on curves) impressed me. Furthermore, it's not a nimble car at all... well, not supposed to be .... IMO, SUV is not a good match for "M badge"...

mercedesc63, it takes a lot of balls to say the X5M/X6M are slow. That is a ridiculous statement. The X5M does 0-60 in under 4 seconds and the quarter mile in just over 12. A gas guzzler yes, but slow you must be kidding.

I had a chat with a driver who's had access to a certain couple of AMG E63 S's (the white one and burgundy one that were in Drivetribe) and was told they are incredible and should be on the list for replacing an M5.
