Most manufacturers do not allow us to advertise pricing outside of our websites. Shoot us a quick PM anytime for more information!

I have not seen a power figure for the M5 with this intake. However, they made one for the RS5 and guys were getting 20hp from this intake alone. I almost bought it before i traded in my Audi, but every one who installed them were raving about quality.

These are the best looking intakes I've seen. I appreciate great design and great engineering. Great work.

Price to 66216. I would love to do a before and after quarter mile test.

Unfortunately Eventuri does not have a dyno sheet available for the M5 yet.

Here's a video to show airflow however.

A leaf blower with what appears to be dual outlets...anyone seem to notice how they held the leaf blower about 6" lower when using the stock airboxes? I mean sure, I expect an air scoop will do something, but holding the blower at lower heights so the air is blowing on the bumper more than into the grills will definitely at a more dramatic affect when pricing is released.

You're over analyzing it (he's only 1" off, see times below). See photo below of another brand scoop, the purpose is to show you the OEM intake inlets are passive (not ram air to reduce water and leaves from getting into the intakes). Any scoop will increase the airflow similar to Eventuri as you're directing air 90-degrees to enter the passive inlets.

The OEM inlets are designed this way so you don't have to buy a new filter every 5k miles.

They're trying to sell in intake for likely $3000+ dollars, so I think you're grossly under analyzing. I don't know what your definition of 1" is , but at that angle it's easily 4". Based on how their leaf blower looks, it appears the larger tube is for leaf bagging and the smaller bottom tube is for leaf blowing...they're blowing into their inlets when trying to convince you, then blowing onto the bumper to deceive you...they're not even blowing into the grill itself at all with the stock airbox! But hey, little common sense details like that mean nothing when people assume that high prices automatically equate to the best quality. You don't always get what you pay for...but it'll make for nice eye candy.

Maybe its the camera angle but I can assure you there was no bagging as I was the one holding the leaf blower.

Do the test yourself and see what happens before trying to suggest that the test was fixed.

No dyno = no difference noted = stock intakes less carbon filters are hard to beat. Save your $

The video and screenshots clearly show otherwise. I don't doubt a scoop will force more air, but bagging was definitely done for the dramatic affect.

Sure, send me a set and I'll make sure to NOT do what is clearly being done in your video. I'm sure you'd never lie to make a sale, but maybe an unbiased opinion would help clear this up.

Maybe the sound is fake. The leaf blower isn't on at all. Maybe we never landed on the Moon. Seriously???

Eventuri intakes are beautifully designed. It's priced fairly at $2,200. There's an intake company out there that's made in a guy's garage, with metal pipes, with no 3rd party unbiased dyno data, and charges $3k. Gruppe M charges $3,300 and people are happy to pay for them. Whatever floats their boat.

I have a big secret to tell you, OEM BMW intakes with BMS filters and charcoal removed make as much as any intakes out there.

You buy intakes for sound and look. As for performance, I don't think you'll get $2-3k worth. Hell, you can get a JB4 for 1/3 the price that makes 10x of what intakes claim to give you.

Per my explanation, our stock intake inlets are facing sideways. You can blow at it 100mph at 90 degress all day and air will not go into the intake. It's a passive duct. "Any" scoop out there can force the air to turn 90 degrees, to turn the passive duct into a ram air inlet. See photos below.

Great work here Eventuri. I love the innovative design and the beautiful carbon fiber weave. I'm not a customer yet, but I appreciate good design and I'm a fan.

You sound like the guys from my E38/E39 days when they bought Dinan's $15k supercharger and then had to justify their purchase price when VF and ESS came out with the same setup for $6k. I get it, you'll soon have a vested interest in this intake, yes it's a nice looking intake, but that doesn't change the FACT in the picture I posted from their own video. Buy it because it makes YOU happy, but it's not a debate as to what they did and it's not dyno proven, yet your eyes are closed and your wallet is open...more power to you (no pun intended).

Hahah, I am a carbon fiber whore.

The vendor, Vivid, started a thread to promote Eventuri intakes. Why must you shit on their post? That's just not ethical. Unless you have vested interest in another company, you can start another threat to debate your aerophysics knowledge.

Vendors like Vivid keeps the lights on at Bimmerpost and help keep this great community running. If you are not helping them, please don't hurt them.
