The engine bay line, I'm not clear if he was plugged to begin with, or if he re-conneced it in the engine bay?

Did you get it resolved? The lines are in the rear of the car under the bumper near the exhaust valves or where there used to be one. May be tucked up by the shop that installed your mufflers.
