LED Anti Dazzle

I was disappointed to find that my M6 GC wasnt able to have the anti dazzle function decoded.

Is it possible on the LCI LED M5's?

Yes, my '15 M5 with LEDs was coded with anti-dazzle. I don't know the differences with the M6. I would suggest you PM member V12.

Mine is a 14 with LED's and got mine coded a few months ago. Seems to work but hard to see what its actually doing from behind the wheel. I know its doing more than the auto high beam assist.

I have found that the system is not 100% perfect and I am blinding on coming traffic from time to time so I just shut the Anti Dazzle and high beam assist off.

What is anti-dazzle? Is it same as high beam assist (no blinding oncoming traffic / cars in front with high beams by switching to low beams automatically)?

Anti-Dazzle Explained here:

It's only avail in non-US cars because of DOT standards on high beam behavior. If you look at your sticker, your anti-dazzle was de-coded for the US delivered BMW. You can try to re enable it by coding the value back in, if you are interested in using the tech.

Mine works like a champ, I have not noticed any issues with other cars (but the again i am not driving the other car) but no was has flashed me to anything. I do look where the beam is when I am driving behind other cars. I really like the feature.

I even think it could be a bit more "aggressive". Sometimes I feel like it turns off too soon or just does not come on when it could. Maybe there is a gain setting or something in the code.

That's a great video. Very handy feature. I will get mine decoded. Thanks
