Here in Lebanon they told me 0w40. Should I not go with that and get 0w30 instead???

Never had an issue with my M3 which was driven the same amount. Anyone seeing anything similar? Needless to say I am a little stressed about it.

Can you guys talk me off the ledge and tell me it is no big deal!!?
I had this experience during the last 2 years. Maybe it helps you.
I got my first 650 in 2012 with N63 engine. the software at that car used to show the level of engine oil permanently so I checked it daily and almost every 1000 miles the warning message to add a quarter oil.
in 2013 I changed the car and got another 650 with N63 tu and new software that whenever you want to see the oil level you have to stop the car, put in N or P and takes about 1 minute to measure the oil level. I noticed that with warning messages pop , the car needs more than 1 quarter and if you just add 1 quarter the next message pops early (in less than 1000 mile) and also the measurement does not show maximum; so every time I see the message I add 1.5 quarter and then check the level and it is in maximum. Now I have a M6 with s63 tu and the same story. I have to add oil every 1000-1500 miles and it is completely normal. These two huge turbos need oil for cooling purposes.
BTW I use SAE Mobile 5-30 and add it by myself since for $10 it does not worth to drive to dealer and ask them unless they are on the way home...
