The issue with several dp's is that the brillo pad, heat gasket can't be used because the front/primary o2 sensors sit too low.

It's because the cat diameter raises the 02 sensor into the factory location. You no longer have a wide diameter cat. It really isn't a big deal... 6k miles and no issues.
