///M License plate frame

Im looking for a Matte Black plate frame for the rear, anyone here have one and recommend theirs? Can say ///M or ///M5. Prefer one that provides the proper screws (my current AMG one did not) that also insulates for any vibrations.

Could get black BMW OEM ///M plate holder and then wrap it with matte/satin wrap?

The BMW OEM M and M5 plate frames are very good. The only thing wrong with them is the screw caps are a bit flimsy but I got aftermarket caps from Amazon and paired those with the frame. Looks very clean.

I know the M5 plate frame is matte black. I'm not sure about the M frame since I had that on my old car and someone else has that now.

The only reason I didnt want to put an M5 plate is I already have the M5 badge... to me its slight overkill. I like the M only plate better.

+1. I also have and prefer the ///M only frame. It complements the shadow line trim on the car perfectly.

I just bought it when I picked my car up and had the dealer put it on. I thing shipping charges would negate any online discount.

You could go for a custom one.
Since I took the picture below I changed it to use the correct M logo/colors and
also used color matching screws/mounting hardware. Using felt on the backside makes
sure there are no rattles etc
I like it as the plastic frame is thin enough to allow the use of a clear plastic cover for the license plate so it's not exposed to the elements

I got the BMW carbon fiber frames that match the carbon fiber roof on my M6. But they would look good on any M, and are understated by not being further badged.

I picked up mine off of Amazon. Don't know if it worked out to be cheaper or not, but saved me a trip across town and shipped fast.

I think it is cheaper - $2 cheaper with free shipping! I ordered this one, looks like its shiny and not matte, but I guss that actually matches the shadow line better. thanks again guys!

My car isnt here yet, so cant confirm fitment with the screws. Its not shiny, but not completely flat, I'd actually call it a satin black - between matte and shiny, its very nice actually.

I would recommend that you simply get a plain license plate frame that is paint matched to your car with paint matched screw covers/caps. This is what I have on my E60 M5.. plain is best IMO. Don't need M5 or BMW license plate frame because you already have those logos on the trunk.
