I know ive just aquired mine but i only spent $150 on tint and i dont see myself spending much more. When i had my hondas and acuras i spent a ton on mods to make the car better. I got an M5 because it is 95% perfect in looks and performance and every category..(AWD wouldve made it 100%!)
My exhaust is perfect, not too loud to garner too much attention but still sounds serious, the 20' wheels look better than any aftermarket option ive seen and the 560hp is way more than enough for me. In other words, i got a 100k car because it is complete and needs nothing else added, if i wanted to spend a ton of money on mods, i wouldve gotten another Acura. Not knocking anyone that wants to spend a lot of $$ on mods but to each their own.

But as much as I love my cars, TICO, rate of return, and my Morgan Stanley guy would crush me on doing this heavy of mod if I didn't get to experience and enjoy it for some appreciable amount of time.
Yes. To be perfectly honest, I lose a lot when I do this obviously but financially I don't really feel it. It's what I enjoy. Funny thing I do is to "Tag" my financial guy (a good friend now) in pics of my cars that I put on FaceBook. He always has a "NO!" to add to the comments-lol!

Modded out three and sold them in just over 12 months but I am keeping the 991 pretty much as-is because I know I'll prob. get a GT3 or Turbo S next year. Kept the options low by buying a car in stock so I know I'll lose a lot less this time around. Sort of sick of giving it away. Leased the M6 so it's sort of a no-brainer. I won't do any more to it either. The GC wheels were an affordable option and I'll sell the 343s so I'll come within $1000 of expense. Only added a few spoilers, springs and dropped and spaced. Cheap and won't take a bath either.

If you are worried/thinking about money or you're buying mods with the hopes of getting your money back then don't do it. Buying mods like many other things should be considered 100% loss that way if you sell your mods or not it's no different than the shit coming out of your ass which is a huge amount of waste compared to what you put in. Mods are just for kicks and not to be thought of as an investment.

Isn't that the truth?.......

If I decide to not be lazy and actually remove mods when I trade my cars (which does not always happen) and I get ANYTHING back from selling them, I am happy.

Love 'em while you have 'em!
