Would you let your girlfriend drive your M?

Only if I think she's a vaguely competent driver. I would assess this based on looking at the appearance of her car as well as on experience in the passenger seat.

Can she drive? Is her car all beat up? Rims?

I would let her drive in comfort and economy.

Generally no. I let my wife drive my car in exceptional circumstances. Like when her car is out if action.

I've been trying!

She's too scared to go WOT on the highway - she only gets about 3/4 of the way down before she eases off in fear.

My wife feels the same way; she knows I love my car and is thus too scared to drive it.

She's actually a great driver - I'd like to get her familiar with the controls just in case.

It's either she's afraid - or she's jealous of it and hates the thing. Can't always be sure with females...

Yeah exactly, my gf is worried she be responsible for damahe if some one hits her or if she makes a mistake like I will break up with her lol but shes decent driver I understand her logic, I don't drive my friends cars just in case something bad could happen.

I told my girlfriend she needs to learn a double clutch first. So that takes care of that.
