Just Ordered Vertini RF1.2 - INSTALLED PICS

Not the biggest fan of the factory 343M wheels, so went ahead and ordered the Vertini RF1.2 in full gloss black (20x9 +20 / 20x11 +28). I wanted a nice concave wheel that has very thin spokes (to show off the CCB) and comes in full gloss black, and the RF1.2 fits the bill perfectly. Tires are remaining the same 265/35/20 and 295/30/20 Michelin PSS. Will post pics as soon as they are on next week!

Attached are some photo of my M5, and the wheels I ordered:

Should be all installed by Thursday by next week!

UPDATE: Final setup is 20x10 +27 Front / 20x11 +27 Rear

interested in to see what those offsets are going to look like? those are great wheels especially since you're going black! my rears are 20x11+38 so your's are +28...that's pushes it out even more correct or do i have that backwards?

I don't see why they wouldn't. These wheels seem to have lots of clearance. You can always ask a Vertini rep.

Yes, that does push it out more. And your wheels are 21", not 20"

shouldn't matter since were both x11's i just have more wheel with the extra 1" but if that's the case you're going to be poking big time!

Your wheels can't be +38, tons here run 20x11 +25-30 with a flush no rub fitment. Yours look like +28.

okay i'm pretty sure i know my wheel specs. i had them custom built
http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1174728

but i'm sure the rears are different on an M5 anyways...good luck and looking forward to your new wheels!

edit: did a little research and it looks like for the M5 20x11 +25 offset is pretty common with HRE's. i looked into my wheels and i think because of the deep legs on the face is why i'm running a +38mm for deep concavity according to GetYourWheels

IIRC, non-M F10's rear quarter panels aren't as wide as M's. That's why we can fit those offsets.

Update: I called Elementwheels (who I ordered the wheels from) and had them change my order to 20x10 +28 fronts. Hopefully will be here around end of the week!

Nice!

So it's +28, not +25? Either way, you're better off than your previous setup.

Yeah +28 front and rear, 20x10 and 20x11. If I need to add a few MM for more flushness I can do so with a little 3mm, rather do that then go too low of offset and poke/rub.

+28mm on a 10 is perfect IMO this will give you the same as a 16mm spacer. I am nearly pulling the plug on 10x20 et 28 and 11.5 x20 et 34 using 265/295 to start then 275/305 when the tyres are shot. I just need to make sure the rears will clear done some measuring myself but want to go the the shop and do it properly

Glad your going 20's I prefer them to 21's

Yeah I think the 21's look cool, and if this was just a luxury car I'd be all for it (say 7 series). However being an M5, especially with comp package, I prefer the lighter 20s with more sidewall.

UPDATE: WHEELS ARE ON!!

Final fitment is 20x10 +27 front and 20x11 +27 rear. Tires are 265/35/20 Michelin PSS up front, and 295/30/20 Michelin PSS in the rear. Absolutely zero rubbing (had three adults in the car at 120+ on highway / bumps / etc), and looks absolutely stunning. Pictures do not do this setup justice. The concave on the front is perfect, but the rears are absolutely insane!

Pics of the setup:

Will do a proper shoot soon
