Biggest Tyre Size on an M6?

Im installing a 315/30/20 R888 tomorrow on my stock M6 rear wheels. Do you think i'll have any issues?

My next option will be Pirelli PZero 305/30/20 but i really want to go for the bigger size!

Anyone have 315 installed on their cars? Much appreciated!

I have 305 on my 343M M5 wheels which are a 10. They fit great. Your M6 has 10.5" wheel so I would think you'd be find with 315s.

Will the shop allow a test fit? Usually places like discount have a 30 day return policy.

I know a guy has fit 325 on his M6 with an aftermarket 20x12" wheel.

Hey R, can you shoot me over a pic with the 305/30/20 on your 343M wheel? I think I will be going in that direction when I buy tires in a few months. Also, is the diameter pretty close or does it affect MPH any?

Thanks bro!

I'll grab some pictures today and post. They don't bulge like you'd think

As for tire specs, 305s are best fitted with 265 compared to 295. See chart below.

Not sure why my MPSS 305 on M6 343M (which is 0.5" wider than M5 343M) looks more aggressive to me... I mean looks like despite the wider rim, tire stands out more... more enough to protect the rims from curb rash
Look at these pictures:

I'm wondering if this M4 can be driven anywhere except straight line LOL.
People think wider tire (or wider track) means more traction and grip. It's not always "true: and traction doesn't mean handling or agility at all. There is a close relation between width, length, height, weight (distribution),power and aero dynamic of a car. I bet this particular M4 is extremely under-steer and has horrible drivability. 30-40 mm over OEM tires is ridiculous...

Look at these pictures:
Michelins PSS I believe are wider sidewalls than PZero although both are 305s. We had the same issue with MPSS when I tried to run 315s on my stock ZL1 wheels. If I ran PZero or almost any other brand, it fit fine. Had a narrow side wall.

im confused as to why a drivetrain malfunction would happen due to wider tires.

Makes zero since on a M6 wheel being 10.5 a 315 R888 would fit fine. I run them on my 10 inch wheels.
