Worried about Yellowish Residue on pipes near engine!
Guys! wondered if you guys have this, i have no idea what it is, and i have no idea what to do! i need help! ><
my engine bays where there is two pipes connecting to the engine, i don't know what is it, but there is some sort of yellowish residue that is hardened already, i think it have been there some time, what should i do, as it seems harmless, but still seems bit threatening at the same time! >< please help me ! Note: it is where the M logo on the Engine cover is, slightly below it there is the two pipes, it is happening at the connection ! [IMG][/IMG] |

Coolant leak. There is a sib to get this heat protected. Looks like you need to go visit the dealer and have clamps replaced and get them to clean it all up.

same here
in uk once your car in for any service, your dealer not allowed your car out, until clamps replaced and heat protected like Spinny said at least at my dealership |

yup. the old clamp is not strong enough to hold the pressure, thus coolant leak. I had this on my MY2013. But the official tsb did not come in til late in 2014.
