Need Help X5M Pricing

Hi everyone,

I follow this pricing forum closely as I'm in the market for an M5 this summer as well and wanted some insight on an X5m I'm looking at.

Here's what the dealer came back with.

If I recall correctly sticker is around $113k discounted to $109 (online pricing)

36MO/10K
$1713 with zero down
$1390 with 10K down
Residual 65.595

I guess my question is based on everyone's M5 quotes and the retail pricing being very similar to an X5m why would this be so much higher? I've seen a few recent posts of zero down and around 1100/mo

Thanks for you help!

The residual seems on par with the M5 at about 60%. They must be jacking the money factor. Ask the dealer what the current BMW FS money factor is on the X5Ms.

Based on the numbers you mentioned the Residual is 58% and the depreciation is about 44k. Also the total rent fee due to MF 0.00170 is 10.6k thus the total lease fee is 54.5k or ~1500 monthly payment (tax excluded and zero down).
Have no idea about sales tax in your state. In some states the tax is based of capital cost and in some states (like CA) is based on lease cost...You can also read this thread:

That's up about a third from what BMW FS was offering at the end of 2015 before the Fed made their first rate hike. I got .0013 on my 2016 M5 lease in August. You can buy the lease rate down with multiple security deposits (up to 7) which would reduce the monthly payment by about $85. In the current interest rate environment it's a great option for a guaranteed 10% return.

M6-Coupe's calculation pre-tax is spot on at $1,500, so if they're telling you $1,713 inclusive of KS sales tax it seems your state may have a fairly punitive tax structure for vehicle leases.

You should be able to get the sale price down. On the X5M forum most people are getting between $7500-8000 off.

What ever became of this? I'm going in tomorrow to price out an F85, I am aiming for 8% plus the option allowance.

On the F85 forum seems to be the average.

10k residual is 58% at .00132

Just so you know, some people are being offered up to 12-13k off lot x5m's and x6m's with MSRP in the 110-116k range. I am watching the deals since I am planning to pick up another x6m when I see a deal that compels me to move off of the fence.

That is a nice ride. Can't go wrong there. I checked out the new Range Rover Supercharged and I did like it very much. The wife said it is too big and heavy for her though so we ended up with an x6.

I ordered my wife's this weekend, still finalizing details to see what happens today (first of month) for rebates. I locked in the MF and Option Allowance already. They had two on the lot, but I prefer to order to spec.

Patrick,

I saw on Wranglerforum you were inquiring about trade in values for your Willys. Good luck with the new ride, it should be a little better at merging onto the highway than the Willys!!

Just killing a little time ... slow day at the office. My wife's Grand Cherokee isn't up until December, so I won't start looking seriously until the summer. But she's already shot down anything too performance oriented, so no X5M, GC SRT8, etc. in our future.
