Just picked it up
2014 Singapore grey, extended SO, CP, executive, lighting, drivers assistance, piano black, carbon mirror caps, performance exhaust with carbon tips. I'm loving it so far. Wish I got full vs extended but it wasn't worth it for me to special order a car with it and the extended will be easier to clean the scuff marks off the back of the seats from my kid. The performance exhaust is great and the carbon tips look amazing. I have a carbon spoiler on order and I think those along with the mirror caps are the only bmw carbon parts available for the m5. Maybe a lip or diffuser will eventually come out. I considered the carbon interior but I will keep the piano black for now. Now I need to put a quick 1200 miles on it. Thanks for everyone's feedback on this site over the past few weeks. You all have been great. Need to resize some photos and I will post.

Hopefully this work. So I get an error that my ipad photos are too high a resolution to upload but if I use the front facing lower res camera it hopefully works. Is there an easier way? Thanks

Sweet. Our cars are alike except for the CF pieces. Can you take a picture of the exhaust further back? I want to see all 4 and also a side profile to see how much they stick out. I got the competition package and feel like I'm throwing money out by swapping the exhaust with the Akra.

Odd photos look fine when viewing on my iPad but not a computer. Since I took them on an iPad maybe it knows to auto rotate them. Let me know if there an easy way to take a photo with an iPad rear facing camera and import it without it being too big.
On the performance exhaust I had the same thought about upgrading from a CP exhaust. Not sure how much of the CP package is due to the upgraded exhaust? Presumably not too much as the CP exhaust is the same as the regular except black tips and the baffles being removed. That should cost too much? |
