YEP just some old cheap car anyone can afford

This Valet lark does not apply here in most places and if it did I don't know anyone with a decent car who would allow some stranger to drive it.

Just to add to this - I have only 1 ding and 1 scratch on the car (visible). Both are courtesy of Valets. The ding came from parking at Stowe mountain Resort in Vermont. It's a high end place with plenty of AMG's, M's, few Bentleys. Ugh. But living in the city, I know I can't avoid it. I drive to work on weekends (plenty of weekends in office) and park at a valet garage. One of the main reasons why I didn't go with a special color

Every time I go out I only valet. Offering $10 as tip to valet yourself isn't enough. Most valets are usually $20 and they will park you where ever. Most places offer and additional charge to be parked up front usually $40-$50.

I always just pull up to valet, tell him I want to be parked in front, ask if I can park myself. Then they usually tell you how much to park in front lets just say $40. I say I will give you $60 now and throw you another $40 when I come out and all is good. Plus if you frequent that restaurant a lot they WILL remember you. Take care of people if YOU want to be taken care of.

Depending on the restaurant I say $50 to $100 is reasonable to be parked out front. Just my 0.02

High price of circumventing the system.

BTW standard valet price at Four Seasons London is 55 pounds. That's without tips or bribes to self park.

At some point you just say: Fuck it - Que sera sera.

Parking valet at the 5-star LeMeridien Hotel in Delhi crashes hotel guest's Lambo Gallardo into other cars, doing more than $330,000 in damage to the Lambo. Hotel tells Lambo's owner that accidents happen, it was inadvertent, and they're not responsible. Watch the video:

You know, I've found that not "valet"ing" my vehicles leads to no surprises, no dings, no scratches, and nothing missing from the vehicle... I guess I'm "not cool", and should understand that they park more exclusive/finer cars than mine. Good, let them do that. I'll relax, knowing I'll find my car the way I left it. It.is.just.that.simple.

We drove with my friends old 1998 C-class to Berlin and used the hotel's valet parking, the guy who parked it said he was used to park a little bit more expensive cars It blended in perfectly with all Bentleys, amg Mercs

The Lamborghini looks like it's e-gear. So don't think it has a 3rd pedal. Clutch should be hydraulically actuated.
