Since you are saying singular clutch, I'm assuming 6 speed manual. If so, clutch life depends tremendously on driving style, naturally what mods you have, and where it's driven.
Hard to say how many miles you'll get as some will get 20k, and others 100k etc... Will you track your car?

If you are talking DCT. Good question!!! Stock should go a long while I would assume since BMW build a much beefier DCT for this car. My tech friend once said the old SMG clutches lasted a long while. Even after 100k miles some looked spotless. Different technology, but thats how efficient the Don't know about the DCT, but the E9X M3's seem to max out at 500 ft/lbs torque, which the supercharged versions are bumping up against. So again stock, I bet these stock clutches go longer than most own their cars, but tuned, might test those limits real fast, especially with a tune.

Yeah I haven't heard of too many stories of M3 DCT owners having to change out their clutches on a stock M3.

There may be a correlation between a tuned car and non tuned one that will affect clutch life, due to the added stresses of more torque, but no one can really say right now.

I'll bet $10 bucks that we see the DCT clutches in the F10 M5 last for a very long time before replacement. Say over 50,000 miles minimum. It's just my gues though.

I can ask my SA to look up the prices on for a new M5 DCT and 6spd manual for parts and labor. She already told me that a brand new entire DCT unit will cost over $9 Grand in parts alone. Lol!
