and who is your source for this actually being on the next MY M5s? Everyone who already owns an M5 swears the next year version wont have it!

As a future purchaser like you, I hope it is included, but I havent seen any official source saying so.

Hi john, not sure if i can post a different forum up on here, but i have seen it mentioned on a f30 forum by one of their moderater/euro editor answering forum members questions on their regarding idrive touch release dates etc.
Some one did ask if and when the m5 would get it, and he replied July production for the US.

his location is germany, and he seems to answer a lot of these members questions over that forum.

Hopefully he's right!

I really can't see the point of this, scratching letters on a pad instead of scrolling is not a "time saver at all" total crap.

If it runs smoothly, without lag, I do think that it will reduce the time your eyes are off the road. That's debatable, though.

I've used Audi's version. It's incredibly intuitive and much, much faster and safer than looking at the screen and scrolling.

With these spyshots as well as the ones of the regular 5 series, we get a good view on how the exterior will resemble for the LCI. But What about interior? Will the steering wheel from the F30 M Sport/M6 also be available to the M5?
