RPi GTM Bottom Plate: How Necessary is it?

Hello guys,

We started on the install for the RPi GTM exhaust on the car. By the time we took everything off, we noticed the bottom plate was bent completely out of whack from the shipping company.

Will it be okay for me to drive the car without the bottom plate for the time being? Is it responsible for the ridigity of the rear end in any way?

I think it's needed.. I have just installed mine too. Can you not do a temp fix and order the replacement? I would ask Eloy. He was amazing help to me on my install...

From the picture, it does not look too bad. You can lay it flat and stand on it or use a rubber mallet to bring it down. Once it is on your car, it will be ok. If you want, we can file a claim with shipping company. Let me know if you have any issues with Joe getting one to you.

Thanks for the help! Will definitely reach out to you if Joe can't get a hold of one. Though, with everything he's done so far, I'm sure he'll be able to take care of me
