Aftermarket Intake error messages?
Has anyone experienced error messages after installing their intakes, specifically mixture control, cross-bank, fuel-air mixture too rich? I have been running aFe intakes and after about 7 months of driving the check engine light came on with that error (from the dealer codes 118011, 118111). Need to make sure the increased airflow couldn't be causing the problem. Thanks.

So are Hondas...how about offering advice to his problem vs a sales pitch.

If I had an M5, I'd chime in. Your reply to the OP was completely useless.

Actually.........its not the same engine.
"As we reported earlier, the engine of the F10 M5 isn't a direct swap from the X5 M and X6 M but a substantially revised engine. In an interview with M-Power.com, Jürgen Poggel, Head of Engine Development at BMW M GmbH, now shared more details on this engine" http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=588858 Maybe they made a mistake and installed a S63TU in your X5M |

Touche, smartass...while I've made the same comment to tuners about tunes between an M5 and X5M, they're the same tune between the two vehicles even though I don't have Valvetronic, lower compression, different headers, intakes, turbos, injectors, etc...yet most still generalize them as being the same. So with that said, I come onto "your" boards to see what mods are being done in hopes most will transfer over to my application...aftermarket intakes no, tunes yes, downpipes yes, etc. No, I'm not an S63TU though...obviously.
