I Can't Take the Brake Dust Anymore.......CarboTech or Cool Carbon?

The brake dust is just driving me crazy, especially with the new 21's I installed. I have read good reviews on the CarboTech and Cool Carbon.

Do you guys have any recommendations on which ones i should purchase? I am looking for a low dust, quiet pad.........if that exist.

thanks,

It's been reported that Cool Carbon is great for reducing brake dust. I'm about to install them myself, so I'll post a review soon.

I use the Carbotech 1521's. Virtually zero dust compared to stock. Seriously -- it's an exponential reduction.

I did this as well. They really do great job with the dust reduction.

The white car is mine, black one is my friend Ruben. Both wheels were clean at the start, and the finger shots are after 3 hours of, let's say "spirited" driving. His pads are stock, mine are 1521's.

So these pads are a simple plug and play with no sensor issues? How will the rotor life endure with these pads as I'm sure if they wore down BMW would not cover them if they discovered that the pads weren't OEM.

I've had the carbotech 1521's on my car since last June. I've pushed these pads hard with no sensor issues and rotors still look good with no noticeable increase in wear.

Yes sir, plug and play. I would assume that rotor issues are highly unlikely. Honestly, with the difference in brake dust, I'd be willing to replace rotors twice as frequently if required.

I'm also looking for a forum vendor or place online to order.

Rotors have 80,000 km / 50,000 miles I'm guessing I should just replace those too?

When I go and pick them up, I will see if he would be interested in a group buy. I'm picking them up today and got a great deal.

I'd throw my name in on a group buy. Dust is nasty & had CT's on a previous Corvette.

I could be in as well- I hate cleaning the brake dust off - looks like a black oil slick when I hose the wheels off with OEM.... I miss PCCB's!

Thank you guys, I'm assuming you did both front and rears as well or just the more dusty fronts?
