Well after a hate love relationship with this car, its finally over. My lawyers are filing a lemon law claim with BMW.

Anyone else go thru this?

My bud went through this here in Houston. He had nothing but issues w his m6gc and because it was all documented Bmw finally gave him a new m6gc. W/o mention all the details but it was a struggle for him but he is happy again.

Would you mind giving specifics? What was wrong with your car? Care to enlighten anyone or just do a drive by post with no details?

I went through an issue with BMW on my wife's X5 and BMW were very professional. Once corp verified that it had hit the triggers for California it was no questions asked. They gave me 3 options, keep the car +check for inconvenience, replacement vehicle, full refund. No questions or arguments from them.

For those that are curious it was an X5 diesel that threw a rod with 4k miles. They had to ship a new engine from Germany which was installed within 3 weeks. Unfortunately they then discovered that the resulting damage shot some metal through the turbos killing both of them. After that it was discovered that when they moved it with the engine locked up it caused some damage to the transmission.

Good to hear positive feedback. My cousin also had his Alpina B7 lemoned it was a Frankenstein with electrical issues. Got a check in the mail, no hassles.

If you don't want to go to any detail, how do you want people help you? It's not the same prescription that a doctor gives to everybody haha... Yes I know someone went to this procedure and BMW did buyback his car if it helps

I choose not to go into any details because it won't help the current claim. The problem has been brought up before, I should've linked it. Thanks to 328ihp for doing so.

My aim was to see if other f10 M5 have been lemoned, and if BMW corporate is going to try and make this a painful and drawn out process.
