Front Brake Pads

Last weekend I was for the first time with my M5, Maus, and after the first lap behind a furious Ring Taxi has broken the front pads and has become compressible, with the effect of extending the range of the pedal and decreased much friction.

Do you know the pads from Pagid RS29 endurance as PFC08 or to mount on the caliper of the M5?

Here's lap where I had the problem

Awesome video!!! You did the run in full DSC off?

The Pagid RS29 pads are supposed to fit the stock calipers. I have also been awaiting these to arrive to the US. Turner Motorsport has been on backorder since January and have not seen any change in this status.

Until then my M5 will not see more track time because it is a costly fix.

Thank you, I was driving in MDM, usually run with the dsc-off but it was my first lap with the M5 at the Ring

If it was lap 1, I would think that there was an imperfection in the stock Pad that caused the failure. Was BMW willing to replace it for you?

BTG 7:57

Configuration: brake stock (broken, tires Michelin sportcup2, spring Eibach prokit, sway bar Competition Package, engine stock with speed limit 268km/h, many traffic, second lap with M5.

I think that under optimal conditions, the M5 so configured, it can run in 7'45" on the official lap (20,6km), I just have to increase the camber front and find the right pads.

Nice driving! How many laps do you have under your belt on the ring? Looks like you know the line well

That taxi is doing its best to get away from you isn't it, great job driving. So you are confirming that BMW will do the fix because it was caused on the stock pads? And they will replace with what? Pagid RS29 or stock?

2nd times at Nurburgring

As a result of my complaints to the consistency of braking, BMW has fitted the oem sport pads on my M5 at the Nurburgring behaved very well , no problem of heating.

The only problem is that hiss slightly
