Which FULL ECU tune is the best out, right now?

Looking to part with my BMS tune I've had on for a while which has been working flawlessly.

Want to get that annoying CEL out of the display (sometimes BMW services questions what it is even though you can tell it's catless by the smell anyway) but I've yet to be bothered with any warranty issues, maybe I'm lucky.

Anyway, I know it requires sending in both ECU's, I just want to make sure it involves NO drilling/soldering, and can revert back to stock if needed. Also, is the power difference significant compared to BMS? With BMS it's sort of like more of a "push" from when the turbos are in full operation but that's what it's meant to do. Doesn't feel very linear though--only when they kick in do you really feel it (higher RPMs). Will the curves be more linear? Better throttle response?

Lastly, does the tune offer full unrestricted speed governor? Because from what I've researched there's THREE limiters on our M's. First being at 167MPH (155 actual), and the second being 205MPH. The third seems to be locked up and can't be "unlocked"? Not like I would ever go this speed.......but.... I wonder what top speed would even be??

Vendors please PM me information on the tunes. I have a spot reserved for AMS but it's taking forever for them to complete testing.

I'm also located in Florida so if any tuner is local here I would prefer, if not I'll ship out both ECUs.

OP, shoot me a PM as we deal with almost all whom are offering full ECU tuning. My personal M5 is running the BR-P stage 1+ tune with catless AMS downpipes and I couldn't be happier. Smooth/consistent power, no CEL, and certainly no speed limiter

Jailbreak tuning has recently released a full ECU flash.
There are 2 members on this forum who currently have it and HG Motorsports in San Diego CA have tuned an M5 and M4 I believe with the same tune as well.
Very good gains from what I have been reading.
I cant recommend who is better then anyone else as there are very few cars to either have a ECU flash and companies still in development phases. In due time there will be more reviews and hopefully more options for us to choose from

I want to detail my car in the time that my ECUs are shipped for tuning...

If I remove the ECUs...can I still put the car In neutral and turn the steering wheel ? Will the wheels turn ? I want to be put the car on a flatbed for transport to the detailer and I also want the detailer to be able to move the car around in his shop without the ECUs...

Is this possible ?

Nobody is de-crypting stateside. All ECU's go to BR to break the encryption and from there each tuner makes his/her tweeks.

My delimiting was done in front of me in Houston. 1 hr to remove ECUs about another to flash both and 15-20 min reinstall. Eurocharged has full control over ECUs. I think they are using Br's setup to access ecu and adding their own tune. I did not do the tune because of my Dinan piggy back. They have also enable OBD access so if i ever do decide to get a tune it can be done right from the obd port (have not tested this yet). Jerry and his team are great to work with.

He had a stack of other f10 m5 ECUs ready to be tuned so word has gotten out.

proof of removed speed limiter is here:http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showpos...8&postcount=30" rel="ugc" target="_blank">http://<a href="http://f10.m5post.co...stcount=30</a>

Tuning is all performed by ESS. Soon we will be bench-flashing on site for same-day turnaround.

Actually until very recently ALL ECUs had to be decrypted offshore.. We were all told that at some point the decryption tool would be sold to the market, we just didn't realize how quickly we would get here as this was being developed at the time. This is great news and I'm glad we are already at that stage as you are pointing out with Enzo's remap as well as AMS, ESS, Eurocharged, Jailbreak etc.. Being able to get our remaps customized at a local tuning shop can only be a positive for all of us.

As i always say the consumer is only going to benefit from this. Enzo did mine in house and didnt send it anywhere. Reason why i did it in the first place because everything is done in house on his dyno and then street. As you can see a lot of tunes are coming to market now hence why AMS couldnt sell it for 3k anymore.

Jailbreak tuning tunes their ECU's in CA at their facility, so the tool and capability is definitely here now.
More then just a few Ccalifornia based F-series cars running their tune now.
I believe Joe from Trinity Autosport has their tune on his M6 coupe as well.
