Nov lease number's

I built my car on BMW NA's configurator again today and the exact same car I built a month or so ago is now $140/mos more on a lease. I called my CA about it, but he didn't have the answer and would look into it. Hmmm... Can anyone confirm the residual has decreased that much? Or is it something else?

What about for remaining 2014's. Will they also have a lower residual? i would think they would want to move those and not lower the residual.

If you haven't put in BMWFS application in/don't have rate lock by 10/31, only new numbers apply.

Actually, these are pretty standard for M5. We just had it pretty good in 2014.

I didn't check the history, but makes no sense for me to lease unless I do something stupid like $20K down. I may try to buy it outright if I get a better deal than 6% below MSRP. Not sure I can with a 2015 and optioned the way I have it. It's a bummer.

@Bronch - if you ordered in October, you should be locked for October residuals. Did you confirm with your CA?

Yes, but haven't heard back. It wasn't being built until Jan because of the individual color. I contacted him over the weekend and he said we could lock in Dec rates. Of course, I asked if we could lock in the Dec rate why couldn't we lock in Oct rates when I ordered it. Haven't heard back. I'm a little upset.

Play around with the numbers a bit.

for my build...

36 Months: the November residuals would increase my 36 month lease rate by $125 per month. That's a 13% increase over my current monthly lease based on Oct residuals. In agreement, OUCH!

39 Months: plugging the numbers in for a 39 month lease would increase my deal for my build by only $27 per month. That's an uplift of 2.8% per my current monthly lease based on Oct residuals. Not the end of the world...

Again, check w/ your CA to confirm if you're already locked for October's residuals. I double checked with mine and I'm still good for Oct even though I don't pick my ED M5 up until Nov 21st.

Good luck!

Ahhh... well look at it his way. The incentive in October was only $1000. The November holiday incentive appears to be $2000. If you're doing the 39 month lease, the increase is almost a wash. You're potentially still good
