How long does it take to drop off car in Munich?
We are planning on flying out of Munich in AM after dropping off the car at LOG IN OUT GmbH. We are looking to do it on Saturday - drop-off location opens at 10 AM and the flight I want to take is at 11.50 AM. We will be checking in bags as well.
Is this doable - dropping off car at 10 am and trying to get on a 11.50 am flight? Next less expensive flight out is at 9.35 pm and I don't want to wait that long if I dont have to. Thanks |

That might be cutting it close. It took me 30 minutes each time on my 2 ED Dropoffs but I've heard others have waited longer.

Thanks guys - looks like the smart money is on not cutting it that close. Anyone drop off on Saturday in Munich who can comment?

Took me almost an hour. They were rather slow at the drop off.

if you ask nicely and have an extra 50 euro or so - they will come in/open a bit earlier to help your schedule. when you check in at the lounge the morning of delivery, let your delivery SA know what your plans are...and that you'll need an earlier appt. to drop off on Saturday. they will make a few calls for you...

Thats cutting it too close. Took me about 30 minutes with no wait.
How about arriving at the airport at 9am or earlier. Park the car at Loginout. Walk a short distance to the check-in terminal. If Lufthansa, it takes about 10 minutes. Check in your luggage. Then walk back to Loginout to do the paper work. Should be done by 1030Am if no one is ahead of you. Then it should be enough time to get to the plane for boarding by ~11:15AM. |

So check in around 9 am with bags, pay 50 euros for these guys to open up the drop off car counter early. Walk to drop off around 9.30. Drop off cAr and back to terminal by 10.30. I can wash my car on Friday night before parking for the night. Can this work? No idea how long is walk between car drop off and air Dolomiti terminal. Thanks

You probably don't need to pay extra to make the flight unless you want to allow more time to do other things before the flight or just to be extra safe. Also there is a car wash nearby about 5 minutes or less away from Loginout if that is a better option than washing the night before. |

A bit off topic, but are there any recommendations for hotels in Munich? I am currently booked in Le Meridien Munich but open to look at other places. Will be staying for 2 nights as of now.
Thanks

Thanks[/QUOTE we stayed at the Le Meridien. its good. walking distance to pretty much everything and more importantly the hotel garage is safe and an easy to park lot. a
