CP worth $200 more per month on a lease?

I'm looking at 2 2014 M5's which have the exact same options except for the CP. The one with CP is $200 more a month, both with around 26 months left on the lease with about the same residual. If the car holds up like me E36 M3 not like my X5, I'll buy it at the end of the lease. The jury is still out. Of course, if all the window regulators, door handles and a bunch of other annoying things fail like my past X5 I'll drop it off at the dealer at the end of the lease. But lets say the car holds up, is the CP worth $200 a month more?

Thanks in advance for the help

in a word No...

why so much more? the residual value and resale value after your term should be slightly higher than a non CP car and negate some of that cost.

most finance goes up by about £25 a month per £1000 of extras. so they are literally charging you the full £ 8,000 for CP...

my finance only went up by £70 per month when I added CP. so that just about made it worthwhile.

the cars gone now so i've lost any financial benefit to having CP. but enjoyed it while I had it

I guess the guy with the CP didn't get as good a deal as the guy without CP. $70-100 would have been reasonable. That's what is making my decision more difficult.

push the dealer a bit harder Nick to give a better discount/ residual and reduce the monthly spend..

good luck

Odd. I have no regrets not getting the CP. The only regrets I have are not calling up BMW HQ and insisting on an Opal White Interior, Ceramic shifter, and back chrome accents.

CP costs $7300. On the paper (in theory) even with %51 residual, the depreciation is about $3600 which is $100 per month (36 months lease)... but don't look at CP this way ... do you really like CP or not? if yes then go for it! it's only 5.2k (26 months) for a car that has MSRP over 100k right? The joy of ride worth more than that (again if you like CP)

Are these new leases or are you looking at assuming a lease?

Does the CP exhaust sound noticeably different than non-CP?

Looking at assuming a 2014. The 2015 lease numbers are terrible right now.

I noticed a bit deeper rumble city driving. On the highway cruising, no difference.

No, the car is about 97% the same.
