DownPipe Install

Hey guys I just placed a order for vrsf downpipes. For those of you that have had dp installed what was an average cost shops were charging you for the install an how long did it take. Also did you guys keep your CEL on till you got it tuned? If so were there any problems or issues you ran into? I am just debating if I should wait to install the dp till I get the tune an do it all at once. I'm from New England so In a few weeks I'll be taking the car off of the road anyway as it's not my daily an I don't drive in the winter so may just wait for the spring to do everything at once!
Thanks
Shashin

It's a 2.5-3.5 hour install. Factor a $120-150 rate / hour.

You'll be looking around $300-400 for the install

The CEL shouldn't cause any issues other than the annoyance. Should be fine driving with it on. Best to read the codes though to ensure you don't see anything else.

Tune will take care of it of course. I

I remember couple of exhaust videos of yours. Don't you have DP already paired with Eisenmann Race?

some people are bothered by the light, some aren't. If you want more power, and hate the light, get the flash.

Called a couple places already. My goto shop EAS wont touch carb stuff (news to me, must be a recent change). Others' quotes were a bit high for this type of work. Recommendations?....prefer a shop that has worked on f10 M5 before. Thanks.

I posted in the CA subforum also, but I figured more traffic here.

edit: socal LA/LB/Anaheim/surrounding areas.

I'm calling around too as I don't think I will be able to do it myself. Let me know what you find.
