Yes, then there is the issue of getting enough heat into the tire. When you buy the DRs ask the supplier if they will heat cycle them (discount tire will do this for the Nittos which they sell). That will break the tires in, alternative is find a country road and roast the tires best you can which is what I did. Still it was probably a dozen runs before I felt the DRs were really starting to hold.

With the limited brake stands at the track I found it was usually about the 3rd run where the tires started to dead hook.

LOL. Yeah Edmonton is a nice place to 'visit' in the winter. Living here in the winter is another story, but I wouldn't change a thing.
I have been looking on Ebay and cant find anything. Most of them say they fit F10 non M's. Maybe just stick with that and use spacers.

Or see if someone is willing to part with OEM 19" rears at a reasonable price.

That would be best. I tried with couple members, but everyone wants to get rid of the whole set.

This proves my point you don't need expensive exhausts or intakes to be fast. I showed up with BMS tune, which I applaude, and ams downpipes. I ran against a 2012 e63 amg with weistec tune, drag radials and 110 octane. His best was 11.8. Stay tuned for the vids and pics.

Nice run bro! I ran 12.0xx stock (2013 M6) two weeks ago having Rpi GT exhaust installed tomorrow and hopefully have time for carbon filter delete and I'm going to try and run again Wed. My Supersprint dp's should be here by the end of the week and have BMS coming too so I'll have to run again the next week. I'll keep you posted and thanks again for the help with the CEL tool and BMS!

Honestly Terry gave me the go ahead to try 3lbs of boost and 100 octane... You might be under 10 with that and some radials (not even factoring in the benefits of exhaust/intake)

Congrats on that 1.9 60ft too lol

GAWD IF ONLY WE COULD GET A LEGIT TUNE maybe low tens hahaha

Anytime, let me know what's next.
Your launches will get more tricky with more power, but take your time to find the best setting for the car and you will be more than happy.

Under 10 will probably never happen.
with 109 octane and drag radials and really good launch I will probably hit 10.9 if lucky. How do you adjust the boost setting?

There was only one e63 that day. The Weistec one sounded awesome, but he was having weird issues off the line.

Vic, we need to hook up for a 3rd gear pull against your turbo s. I wanna see how bad the F10 is loosing.

With the zip file terry has you download to set the perimeters initially. So instead of 2.2lbs you just put 3 (make sure you're running 100 though, and he told me don't run it daily for right now).

I actually think you would give the Turbo S a great run--- my thoughts are I lose AWD gains since its a roll and the AWD actually sucks out the power as I get into ranges close to 160mph. You are making great power as indicated by the trap speeds and have less DT loss at speed.

I still think the turbo s will pull away because of the weight. Are you available anytime next week? I am trying to convince the wife to come with me this Sat to shift sector in Willow Springs, maybe we can do it there. My tires are bad after the last track event, but I will try to push them.

Yeah if you've got the program that allows you to set variables on your laptop plug it in and should take mire seconds.

Sorry I don't roll shift sector. The car only has 510 miles and needs more beatings first. I'm in texas next week.

Great runs! I hope you come out to the SS event this weekend so we can line up for a race or two, looks like we'd be a great matchup. I'm the guy that Vic was talking about who ran his RWD 2013 E63 with just a Renntech tune at Famoso a couple weeks ago. See the below thread for my timeslips.

You are making some nice power with the 130 traps. I just ordered Mickey THompson's ET streets today with some 19's and will definitely get some race gas for the next event. I dont think we can make it this Saturday unless a miracle happens. I would love to go.

Just registered for this Saturday. Wife is coming too. I was able to convince her why Shift Sector event is more important than some beach boot camp final.
