Hello all,

I have finally made a purchase on a M5, I have been looking for a few months now and changed my mind so many times on what I wanted but finally came away with a MCB over Full Silverstone Interior. All options but Night Vision.

I have owned a E92 M3 for the last 4 years and wanted a sedan again but didn't want to leave the M family. My M3 will always stay with me forever, it was a father son project I did in 2013 before graduating college. We bought it totaled and repaired it, it will always have that special factor that I cant sell it. My father has been doing auto body/repair for the last 35 years so we had all we needed to fix it completely in house.

I flew into Dallas, TX Friday morning and drove back to Albuquerque, NM the same day, was an enjoyable trip back, the car is on a another level compared to the M3 in performance and luxury.

I told myself not to get a mod bug for this car but that didnt stop me from making a list on my trip back..... my wallet is probably going to feel a little pain.

I know some might ask so here is a close picture, they are the gold f10/f80 6 pot calipers I have for the M3 on the front

In the 4 Days I have had the car I will say its very different. The power increase is very noticeable and its a different type of power from NA engine. I will say traction is an issue coming from a S65 which doesn't really have torque down low.

As far as comfort and ride it is also better everything just seems smooth. Having full leather is also a great touch coming from just extended fox red in the M3. I will say one of the best things is the B&O sound system, when I was shopping for M5's it wasn't really a "Need" item but I'm soooooo glad I have it.

As of right now the exhaust is stock on the M5, I do miss the M3 exhaust at the moment but nothing a little money cant fix for the M5.

I was set on fitting the lci steering wheel into this car as its a 2013 but as of right now I actually like the steering wheel, I will prob still do the change once I find a used airbag as prices are stupid for new.

Happy to hear that bro. I was very close to getting an M3. Glad I didn't. Great car, but these are better. I would have missed what the M3 doesn't have.
