stock CP rear ride height seems low
My 17K 2014 CP left rear is just visibly lower than the right, and has been since I got it at 16K miles.
Unweighted the car seems pretty close to the spec, but definately lower (too low) on the left, measured from the bottom edge of the rim to the fender arch: LR: 24.5" = 622 mm RR: 25.0" = 635 mm Spec for CP w/20" rims is 632 mm according to what I found in TIS. Is this likely a blown shock? All parts look stock, bar code stickers still on them. If a shock, is warranty replacement generally successful or are shocks/springs generally excluded as consumable wear items not covered? |

Chassis points might be different to wheel arch measurements. But my M5 I don’t think measured very different on. A flat floor, it will read different on a ‘flattish’ floor. My CP measured 380 F 368 R measured from wheel centre to arch lip

I have a comp pack as well (2014). I'm 24-11/16 both sides on the rear.
Question: Does anyone else notice their CP being lower in the rear than front? Mine is 25.5" in the front on both sides. You can certainly see the ~3/4" sag |

Here's the various specs so people can compare with their actual measurements (viewed this way you can see the rear is always supposed to be 10 mm. lower than the front).
For whatever reason, these measurements are relative to bottom lip of wheel rim to the wheel arch sheet metal. The specs are in metric, and I used a quick converter to get the rough English equivalent. The car is supposed to be weighted to achieve the spec, so unweighted it should stand taller. "Vehicle with complete equipment for normal operation with: 2 x 68 kg on front seats (seats in centre position); 1 x 68 kg on rear seat (centre); 1 x 21 kg in luggage compartment (centre) and full fuel tank. "
