My 550 with the Dinan shockwave and the springs corners very well... Again I have not had a chance to drive an M5 which is making this process very difficult

I wish I could just buy them all

I now know I hate Mercedes unless is a black series, the merc is not very nice looking inside and out...

At this point the decision is between the

If I were you, I would go for 911 turbo for sure. If you can afford, the perfect option would be M5 + 991 turbo S! Don't really feel that it's a good idea to keep both 550i and M5.

Was this video shot in HD? If there is a video equivalent to the "butt dial" I think this video is it.

I agree with the others here. The M5 is stellar, but if you're determined to keep the 550 I would mix it up a bit and do a ED on the Porsche.

I had both too. I find the M5 is not only better performing, but also seems much more precise in terms of handling, power delivery, gear shifts, engine response. It's like Enhanced definition TV 480p vs. 1080p.

The sense of precision I what I love about the car. The 550i completely lacked that.

I've had a 550 stage 4 and now an M6. I can say that they do not compare when it comes to how the engine, power and overall delivery of both are communicated and distributed. My 550xi stage 4 was a load of fun off the line and it handled pretty damn good with springs and (ARS) but after driving the M6 which is similar to the M5 I can say that they are 2 different animals and would not compare them as equals.

You could also have two new GTR's that stock beat you. Cars are more then numbers. Turbo Porsche's are awesome cars but I would take an R8 V10 any day over it. The R8 may be slower but the sound and dynamic feeling leave the Turbo in the dust. Also yes I have not only driven both these cars I have tracked them as well. BTW you are very lucky to have such a stable of fine automobiles.

Something was not right with the M5's 'launch' - see 0.26 - 0.27 of the video.
