Port installed black grill

Hi guys, I was wondering whether the port installed black performance grills are in fact the lci grills with m5 badge and double slots, or are they the black ones with no badge and single slot

I specifically requested the single slot black grill because it was the only way to remove the front badge. I wanted all exterior badges removed.

I believe that they now have the double slot grill in black, with the badge.

What did you spec?

If you ordered the black grill the it should be the double slotted with badge.

I would have liked the double slot, but they didn't have it debaged when mine was built. Debadged was more important than double slotted.

What did you spec?

I would have liked the double slot, but they didn't have it debaged when mine was built. Debadged was more important than double slotted.

Dealer just asked me if I wanted the port installed black grills. I figured instead of ordering it in the future to just do it in one shot. I was afraid the car will come with the debadged single slot grills, as I prefer the look of the LCI badged grills. Obviously both look superb on the car, but I just like the double slotted badge look.

How do you order port installed black grills? Is this something on the order sheet, or do you just ask the dealer? Is there an up charge for this? Thanks!

Yeah there is a small charge like 400 bucks I believe. Not sure to be exact, but once the car arrives to the port they install the accessories. I added an electronic steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and black grills

I think the black grills were $180. I can check my window sticker because they were actually listed on there as an option.
