Squeak from front wheels
I have this problem since I got my car (pretty recent) brand new. The issue is, when I hit a rough patch of the road or a bump or a small pot hole at speeds around 30-40, I get a very quick but somewhat noticeable squeak from somewhere around the front wheel/suspension. I get the noise from both wheels at the same time. Here is some diagnostics info:
* Car is a competition package. * I used to get massive break squeak until I did break bedding process twice which seems to have resolve the issue squeak of the brakes. * The noise that comes from the suspension when I hit a bump or a rough patch of road disappears if I warm the up the brakes after some hard braking and does not come back until the car is cold again. * If I hit a small pot hole or go over a bump slowly, regardless of how bad the hole/bump is, the squeak does not happen. It only happens when I do this faster than 30-40 mph and it won't happen if I exceed 60-70 mph. * I can only hear the noise if I keep the windows down, when the windows are up, there is no way to hear it. I'm afraid of taking the car to service as diagnosing these types of issues take too long and techs end up driving the car far too long and end up trying too many different things to the point they touch too much to my car. Can brakes cause this? Can other owners of similar cars try this out to see if they can reproduce it? It might be more common since it's impossible to hear it with windows up. |

I had this intermittent front end squeak on my first 6 months of ownership. It comes and goes in any kind of weather, road condition, ambient temp, etc. Took the car in and had the shop foreman checked it out without avail and as the car got older, the frequency of the squeaks get lesser ... I just learned to live with it.

No it's not ridiculous since nothing in this world is %100 perfect
The more ridiculous was when I got the brand new car and "Horn" was not working! Dealer checked it out and ordered the part to fix it and I waited 1 month for part to be shipped from Germany. after 4 months the trunk lid was broken. They didn't know even the part number and called Germany. part came after 2 months... anyways as I said nothing is perfect specially when an automaker (No matter which one) has a mass production line!

I had the same experience with my new 2014 M5 CP and within a week of ownership heard a chirp/squeak from the front end when going over bumps in the road at ~30 MPH. I took it in for service and of course at first they could not replicate the noise. I went for a ride with the shop foreman and he finally heard the chirping ... and then he tested it over the same bumps with the brakes lightly applied - no noise.
It's the brakes. They simply removed the brake pad pins, lubed them, and reinstalled. Noise is gone!
