So if no one can do the ecu yet, why Eurocharged claims that they do the ecu tune with the laptop they sent at your home.

Does anyone here did the eurocharged tune already??

The only guy who can do it so far i know, is a guy in the Netherlands and he needs 3 days to crack the password of the ECU. ( password is a 1024bit + hashkey something ) and the price is 5000€.

Even the ACS is with a Power box, i can not really understand why no one can crack this ECU.

My opinion is if you can crack it you will be rich no ?

someone has written here that every time you start a car ECU "re-locks" itself and has a new code! so its kinda impossible to crack it, but impossible is nothing
so lets patiently wait until GXX m5 comes out
maybe by that time we will be able to push f10 over 350km/h

PP is a reputable tuner. But their worst enemies around here has been their customers that have made stupid claims (claims that are not coming from PP). Ghanem was the worst with crazy claims about 0-60 times of 2.5s etc...

I know that this wasn't exactly something PP was happy about...

Yup. You got to see what they do in Mercedes side. The most annoying crowd ever.

That's by far the lowest price i've ever seen for cracking DME. Is he reputable?

Well, I'm not trying to start anything with you or anyone else. It's just when guys come on here and make claims we kinda expect them to back them up. Especially when we all want the same thing. I'm not concerned about what their website claims, you said they can do something and were going there to prove it to us. We just would like to see what kind of damage they can do since you made a bold statement. If you were going off what their website stated that is another thing. I'm quite sure they are a good company and am not taking anything away from them. But for guys to come on here and make claims of their own or of someone else doing, well there is nothing better than video proof. I do hope they along with other companies can make it happen.

Well I am having my limiter taken off by PPP Germany on Monday March 17, so we shall see.
And you can definitely trust their bhp claims as they use a Maha dyno.

I haven't heard of anyone on the boards who purchased the m d package. Would be nice if they offered that upgrade at purchase time.

The reason I asked is ACS who offers a delimit , only does so on cars with the M-driver pack , apparently it is the actual ECU or some accessory control module that is different , not just software which allows it to be delimited.

This may be true.

Before my ED i spoke with the German service rep and exchanged many emails and calls looking to see i could upgrade my ECU to the M Drivers. He was determined after about a week and then he got a response from M and they said its hardware that US cars down have so no speed/ M Drivers upgrade could be done for VMAX.

"I get an answer from BMW M. It isn`t possible to make a Vmax uprating , because thre is no offer for the US markt. This extra euipment wasn`t develop for the US vehicle.
The engine from an US-model is different to the german engine ECU. Iam sorry for this, but this is the final information from BMW."

Yes Chizi, but these aftermarket companies always say things like that. Thats how they draw you in. That's why I said the only way is for one of them to prove it with a video and NONE have come forward from the last year or more. Early last year a eurocharged rep in Chicago told me they had a tune for our cars. He told me to go to my local euro rep and when I did I caught them in lies and I called him out on it. They then crawfished because I had too much info to back up my claims on proving it. And this was before the other companies were coming out with their piggy back moduals. Hopefully one does come out soon and wont out price itself from making less money than it actually could. Imagine all of us with a tune. It would be badazz.

I had the M Drivers pack, with the raised limiter, but for PPP I had to remove it. I had to downgrade to the oem limiter. BMW did this through the software in 17 minutes. Monday we shall see if it works. I have no doubt they are not making me drive down the the south of Germany for six hours and not being able to remove it.
